Our Newham Work – The Our Newham Work team share an office with the Our Newham Money team. Residents seeking help with employment related matters can register by going into the office in person or online. Documentation is usually required to confirm identity, if the person doesn’t have this the team will see what they can do to help so it is worth asking. People must have lived in the borough for three months or more to receive support. For further details see their website.

Money A & E (advice and education) – Free financial support service provided across London but based in Newham. Education, money mentors workshops, money coach service provides free debt, benefits, energy and money advice.

LBN Family Navigators – New drop-in service for Newham residents, currently being offered at libraries around the borough and likely to be in more locations in the near future.
Family Navigators can signpost residents who are parents/carers of children up to the age of 18 (25 for SEND) to services relating to housing, money and financial, health and wellbeing, food, education, wellbeing and parenting.
See flyer circulated with these notes for further information. This includes a QR code which can be scanned to access information about where the Family Navigators will be holding drop-in sessions during each week. This is regularly updated.
Our Newham Money – Team of 30, including specialist debt and benefit advisors. Can assist with financial wellbeing, identifying priorities for payments, smart saving tips. Also provide emergency support including Household Support Fund, Social Fund and Council Tax Rebate Discretionary Fund. They can assist with signposting/onward referral to HPAs and Employment Rights Hub.
